Highfield Level 3 Award in First Aid At Work
Suitable Candidate
This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to remain as first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.
Pre-Course Requirements
Learners must have a valid First Aid at Work Certificate (in date or a maximum of one-month post-certificate expiry). Learners must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course syllabus and be able to kneel to administer Basic Life Support (BLS).

Assessment Methods
This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and a multiple-choice theory test.

Duration
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake 14 hours of learning, typically over two days, with a minimum contact time of 12 hours.
