We are excited to announce the addition of two new courses to our lineup, aimed at supporting learners in the workplace with their own and others' mental health. Here are the new courses:

Highfield Level 2 Award in Introduction to First Aid for Mental Health (Highfield Qualifications)

This course helps learners develop the skills needed to assist with mental health issues in the workplace. With mental health becoming a key focus for many workplaces, this qualification enables learners to become mental health first aiders, providing basic support and being the first response to someone in need. While it doesn't qualify learners to clinically assess, diagnose, or treat mental ill health, it equips them with the principles of mental health first aid and the tools to listen and support individuals requiring immediate help. This course complements our existing Adult Mental Health First Aid (Mental Health First Aid England), offering more options for learners.

Highfield Level 2 Award in Introduction to Mental Health Awareness (Highfield Qualifications)

This course aims to raise awareness and understanding of mental health issues. As businesses increasingly focus on supporting team members' mental health, this qualification helps learners develop foundational knowledge about mental health, mental ill health, and wellbeing. It is a knowledge-only qualification suitable for those preparing to enter employment or those already employed who wish to enhance their mental health awareness.

Highfield Level 3 Award in Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace for Managers (Highfield Qualifications)

Designed for managers, this course provides the knowledge needed to effectively support colleagues with mental health issues. With growing recognition of the importance of mental health in the workplace, this qualification helps managers understand how mental ill health can affect employees and how to support them. It is a knowledge-only qualification suitable for those in employment or preparing to enter employment, covering the essential knowledge and understanding needed to promote a wellbeing culture.
